Bone Marrow Registry Poster

This poster is intended to inform the audience of the bone marrow registry and encourage them to register. The idea was based on the concept of something small, such as the cotton swab used in the registration process, leading to something huge, like curing someone’s leukemia. At first this was going to be done with a cotton swab “hero” shot in a non-literal sense. Instead it became very literal, adding a bit of humor. Generating the imagery was challenging and required a lot of Photoshop tricks to add resolution that was not necessarily there. Using textures and noise I was able to overcome this. I think the result is fun, visually stimulating, and effective in delivering its message.
